When I was fifteen, I started my first diet.

What followed was nearly two decades of dieting, restricting, exercising harder and wondering why none of it seemed to work.

Eventually I was just done. Fed up, in every sense of the word. I stopped looking for a better diet and started getting curious about what was actually happening in my head around food. And gradually, without fully understanding why, things began to shift.

Years later, I came across an understanding of how the mind works and how we create our experience from the inside out. It put words to exactly what I'd stumbled my way through — and made me realise that had I understood this earlier, the journey would have been so much faster and so much easier. 

More importantly, it transformed the way I work with clients.

Suddenly I could see why so many intelligent, capable people — and myself, in hindsight — felt stuck around food despite knowing exactly what they "should" be doing. 

The problem was never a lack of knowledge. It was never laziness, weakness or a lack of willpower. 
They were simply caught in an innocent misunderstanding about how their experience was being created.
